[MAC] "Error while loading the calibration profile" error

Error when loading the calibration profile

We are aware of an issue where SoundID Reference gives an error message when a calibration profile is being loaded, mostly headphone profiles, but also speaker profiles are affected. This can happen in both the plugin and the standalone app:

Follow these steps to resolve the issue

As the issue is resolved in the latest release, install it first. Follow the below steps. 

1. Install the new update: Download center
2. Remove all output presets you've created for headphones
3. Clear the preset configuration in both the standalone app and the plugin as shown here:
   1. Deleting the config file in SoundID Reference standalone app (incl. the backup file)
   2. Deleting the config file in SoundID Reference DAW plugin
4. For headphone profiles only: Delete the corrupted headphone profile (the .swhp file) in the Sonarworks Projects folder:

5. Relaunch the standalone app/plugin and create a new preset to re-download the headphone profile ('Add a new headphone profile' / 'Open existing profile')

Note: The User/Library directory is hidden on macOS by default. To show hidden files, use the Command + Shift + "." (dot) key command in Finder, or follow the directions here: How to show hidden files Mac and Windows?
