Issues with SoundID Reference on Mac 11.2.3

I am having the issue that issue that I need to quit and restart SoundID a couple of times per day, because the sound is somehow distorted or sounds like it's 8bit or something. Has anybody else experienced this?

Sorry to hear you are encountering some trouble with the app. Are you noticing the distorted sound appear after/during some specific actions, perhaps after first launching the app or after computer sleep, or during some other action? As we need to pin-point more specifics, I have also opened a support ticket with you to check on this further and to see how the app has been performing.

We've released a new SoundID Reference beta version (v5.7.3) which includes a major macOS driver rework and aims to resolve various issues (such as the "Preset Switch Failed" error and sleep issues, and other driver related issues).
