I have a REAPER project with 2 instances of the SoundID Reference VST3, and every time I close and open the project, the plugin doesn't remember the selected profiles on neither, and I have to select them again each time I open the project.
The same happens when I update the desktop app, and in this case it doesn't even remember the recent calibration profiles, I have to manually open the files again, on both the app and the VST3.
I would say that it is very rare that I see the app and the plugin remember whatever I selected, and as you can imagine this is less than optimal for my workflow.

Forgot to mention that I am on Windows 10, Reference 5.7.0.85, REAPER 6.75.

Sorry to hear you are encountering this issue! The description of the issue does sound similar to a few reports regarding presets not saving between project/DAW launches with the latest 5.7.0.85 update. Can you let us know whether this issue has always been present or did it indeed appear after updating SoundID Reference recently?
Are you able to recreate the same issue on a different project with only one instance of the plugin added?
As for the standalone app, are the presets missing on each relaunch of the app, or was it only after the update? Thanks in advance for any details you can provide, it is really appreciated!

I cannot say with certainty when this issue started occurring. I can say that I don't remember having a lot of discomfort when I first started using the product, on 2022-11-11, so it might be related to the update.
I tried reproducing the issue on a new project with one instance, and I reproduced only once, but then I clicked on the presets on the left instead of just selecting a profile from the top list, and the issue stopped. It looks like it might have something to do with what is selected on the presets in the left column, but I'm not sure how it previously looked like. It might be possible that the app was in a state in which no preset was actually selected, so the profile wasn't saved anywhere, but it's just speculation.
As for the standalone app, presets are missing only after the update. Once I reload the presets, it seems they stay there most of the time, but I also sometimes noticed there was no profile selected upon relaunching the app, or after a system reboot.

We have released a new bugfix update, version 5.7.2., and it addresses the issue you have described. In case you were encountering it since your last message on this post, please update to the latest 5.7.2 version and check if the problem still persists.
To update to the latest version, download the SoundID Reference installer from our download center (https://www.sonarworks.com/soundid-reference/download) and run the installer as per usual.
